South Florida Water, Inc. & NSF (National Sanitation Foundation)

The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, and a leading global provider of public health and safety risk management solutions. Not only does NSF provide product certification and safety audits for the food and water industries; NSF International is a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Food and Drinking Water Safety and Treatment. South Florida Water, Inc. is a custom purification assembler utilizing only tested and approved NSF parts and components from internationally recognized companies such as Pentair, Clack, Watts, and KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc in the assembly of all our systems.

We often use additional filters due to the specific composition of water. Many large national and international companies receive approval on their entire system because they do not change any of the components and utilize the same system in all states, a “one size fits all” concept.

At South Florida Water, we recognize that each area is unique. Water in New York or California is not the same as water in Florida or Georgia. For that reason, our expert water consultants test each water sample, size the system to the customer needs, and add additional filters as needed. Additional filters alleviate containments such as iron, sulfur, and ammonia (to name a few) that the “one size fits all” system cannot do, giving the customer the best quality of water and peace of mind.

In addition, we use KDF filter media in all our systems. KDF-55 is a bacteria stat filter that oxidizes water so that bacteria will not grow in the system. This, along with carbon filters, removes chlorine, odor, lead, and other heavy metals, and lengthens the life the carbon filter.

Listed below are the NSF pages containing all components in our KDF Aquafil Conditioners.
