Extreme Iron Removal System
“Terminator” Extreme Iron Removal System | South Florida Water, Orlando, Tampa & Sarasota, FL
The South Florida Water Extreme Iron Terminator will eliminate extreme iron up to 20 ppm, sulfur up to 5 ppm and turbidity without the use of expensive chemicals.
The Terminator™ can dramatically correct rusty water stains and eliminate rotten egg odors through its filtration system. Periodic back washing is all that is required to keep the Terminator™ working at peak performance.
The Terminator Plus system incorporates all of the time tested features of the TERMINATOR with the added ability to control low pH.
Terminator™ Water Treatment Systems Features include Fleck Control Valve, Mixed Blend Media, Gravel Bed Air Injector and Air Release Tank. Systems with Fleck 5600 Controls include 3/4″ bypass and systems with 2510 controls include 1″ bypass. Refer to chart below for additional specifications.
Terminator Controls: Ferrous Iron up to 20ppm, Sulfur 5ppm, PH 7.0 to 8.0, Taste, Odor & Color.
Terminator-Plus Controls: Ferrous Iron up to 20ppm, Sulfur 5ppm, PH 6.0 to 8.0, Taste, Odor & Color.

Iron-Sulfur Terminator Filter is chemical free and nearly maintenance free! The Iron-Sulfur Terminator Filter removes Iron (Ferrous & Ferric) and Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg odor) from your household water.
This is an air induced unit with no chemicals. Iron and hydrogen sulfide are oxidized on the filtration media. Simple backwashing, initiated by the automatic control valve that cleans the media bed. As your water passes thru the air, the iron or sulfur is converted to a particle, which is then trapped by the catalytic filter media in the tank while the air is gradually consumed by the passing water.
For regeneration, the unit first “backwashes” itself, removing any iron or sulfur particles it has trapped. The system then replenishes the air by drawing in atmosphere, temporarily emptying the tank of all water and transferring oxygen molecules into and on the surface of the media bed where all oxidation occurs. The system then returns to the “service” position, again filtering your water.
